Marciano Shepherd came out of the goal and Rıfkı Tanpınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Frascuelo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Enzo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gençlerbirliği a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Recep Talha Ilgın, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Enzo FC's Marciano Shepherd. 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Noe. Ciro Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ali Reşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Enzo FC's Erubiel Garaile got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marciano Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Ali Özluer, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Dursun Ali Özluer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 36th match minute, Enzo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Noe to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Tanpınar in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Ali Özluer in the 44th minute of play forced Enzo FC's goalkeeper Marciano Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Enzo FC booed when Gençlerbirliği was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uygur Gülsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Gençlerbirliği were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rıfkı Tanpınar made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Rıfkı Tanpınar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marciano Shepherd. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Derviş Sendur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marciano Shepherd, 0-4. In the 65th match minute, Enzo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Noe to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Enzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Eli. When Alejo Noe came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Enzo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Noe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Noe in the 77th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Rıfkı Tanpınar sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alejo Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Noe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Reşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo FC's Marciano Shepherd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Enzo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Tobias Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Reşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Derviş Sendur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
