After a defensive mix-up in Enzo FC's zone, Juan-Carlos Otero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Shepherd came out of the goal and Juan-Carlos Otero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Ipar Monzonis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Shepherd. Marciano Shepherd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rodolfo Encalada might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Shepherd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Encalada ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th match minute, Enzo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Frascuelo to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes, Rius Monje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo and the Enzo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rius Monje hit a great ball. Donatello Barajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Eli in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Mero Barbadillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Bolaños's late challenge caught a Enzo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Bolaños helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Blas Bolaños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Mero Barbadillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enzo FC the free kick. After 35 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Mero Barbadillo. In the 38th minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Ipar Monzonis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Noe came free, but Donatello Barajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Iliana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ipar Monzonis made the kick off in the second half. Enzo FC's Alejo Noe got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Epifanio Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enzo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Soc. Rodo the free kick. Epifanio Diaz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Mero Barbadillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Shepherd skillfully saved the ball. Enzo FC's Epifanio Diaz got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Epifanio Diaz off the ground. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when Enzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo FC's Marciano Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Encalada in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Enzo FC's Victorio Asur got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Mero Barbadillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Shepherd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ipar Monzonis came free, but Marciano Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidal Ximeno in the 73rd minute of play forced Enzo FC's goalkeeper Marciano Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Juan-Carlos Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Donatello Barajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Noe in the 93rd minute of play. Marciano Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Ximeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo had won after a very even match.
