After 6 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Derviş Sendur hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, 孔竞俊 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit didn't even have to move. If 孔竞俊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gençlerbirliği from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes 重庆侠岚队 got a freekick which was hit by 孔竞俊. After 17 minutes of play, Gençlerbirliği's Sufi Tayguner made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 雷希翀 was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Uygur Gülsoy in the 21st minute of play forced 重庆侠岚队's goalkeeper 雷希翀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 温思昆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 孔竞俊 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

温思昆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ali Reşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孔竞俊 in the 61st minute of play. When Abdülhak Vefai fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Reşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 温思昆 in the 85th minute of the match. Ali Reşit came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by 重庆侠岚队's 温思昆. But to his dismay, 温思昆 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The supporters of Gençlerbirliği booed when 重庆侠岚队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. 温思昆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 重庆侠岚队 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
