Spectators: 7043 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 125) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgard Gines took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rosendo Gabino hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Fabricio Tipi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulino Caetano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 4th minute, SAN LORENZO FC's Fabricio Tipi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When SAN LORENZO FC's Bernardo Romeo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. When Bernardo Romeo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paulino Caetano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 14th minute of play forced Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Paulino Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SAN LORENZO FC's Bernardo Romeo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulino Caetano. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lisandro Mon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Walter Erviti got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Tipi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Caetano saved Riquelme Fútbol Club from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Bernardo Todor got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Paulino Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Gaspar Cordarryl scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Caetano, making the score, 4-0. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Riquelme Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Bernardo Romeo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Caetano. Bernardo Romeo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. In the 47th minute, Fabricio Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Romeo was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Tipi in the 56th minute of play. If Edgard Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SAN LORENZO FC's zone, Cristobal Berto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Romelio came out of the goal and Cristobal Berto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Bernardo Todor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. If Fabricio Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Caetano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Paulino Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Ofelio in the 81st minute of the match. After taking down the ball on SAN LORENZO FC's corner Walter Erviti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Caetano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Fabricio Tipi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riquelme Fútbol Club's Paulino Caetano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Fabricio Tipi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Paulino Caetano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Galtero. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAN LORENZO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Riquelme Fútbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
