Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vic Van Caenegem started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Black Knights FC's Napoleon Cline made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Serneels was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Mayo in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when The Original Wonderteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitry Meys didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goalkeeper Ferdinand Serneels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintin Funk. The Original Wonderteam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Javier Mayo scored to the left of an out of position Ferdinand Serneels, making the score, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Black Knights FC's Kurtis Brownell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ferdinand Serneels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Mayo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Mayo came free, but Ferdinand Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of The Original Wonderteam booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurtis Brownell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Original Wonderteam's Rocky Breugelmans got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, The Original Wonderteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitry Meys to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes The Original Wonderteam got a freekick which was hit by Dimitry Meys. The Original Wonderteam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Dan Riggs scored to the left of an out of position Ferdinand Serneels, making the score, 6-0. After recieving a nice pass, Black Knights FC's Quintin Funk tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Javier Mayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quintin Funk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Serneels came out and tried to block the shot, but Quintin Funk slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quintin Funk was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dan Riggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocky Breugelmans got free with Lionel Aviles in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Cline in the 56th minute of play. Ferdinand Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Mayo in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Mayo came free, but Ferdinand Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Funk in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Timy Coppens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Original Wonderteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Knights FC the free kick. Timy Coppens kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Quintin Funk struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ferdinand Serneels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Knights FC. In the 64th minute, Napoleon Cline left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Knights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 67th minute, Vic Van Caenegem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Funk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remy deconinck kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Quintin Funk might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Serneels. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quintin Funk ran back to his position shaking his head. If Javier Mayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintin Funk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Javier Mayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Cline blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Serneels having to make a save. After 85 minutes, Javier Mayo made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Dewolf charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Dewolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in The Original Wonderteam's zone, Caleb Stahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Serneels came out of the goal and Caleb Stahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the The Original Wonderteam defense, Caleb Stahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Serneels. The The Original Wonderteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Serneels should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Black Knights FC had played much better football throughout.
