Rodolfo Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Gutxi got free with Ferdinand Serneels in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of PATADAS S.A booed when The Original Wonderteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timy Coppens didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels got control of the ball when Ildefonso Rico tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, The Original Wonderteam's Pascual Norino threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julien Maerschalck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rocky Breugelmans charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
