When Amadeu Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aracatiara EC's protests and gave Amadeu Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Bogdan Sokyrka kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Giovani Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aracatiara EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dmytro Mykulyak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Cearense in the 17th minute of the match. Dmytro Mykulyak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SPERANTZA's Dmytro Mykulyak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Cearense in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Arkhyp Pyatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Ricardinho Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dmytro Mykulyak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Svyatoslav Chayka was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. F.C. SPERANTZA's Vasyl Vovk got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dmytro Mykulyak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, F.C. SPERANTZA's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Cearense came free, but Dmytro Mykulyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aracatiara EC's zone, Vasyl Vovk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Tepedino came out of the goal and Vasyl Vovk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasyl Vovk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Aracatiara EC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Giovani Cearense made the kick off in the second half. F.C. SPERANTZA's Dmytro Mykulyak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. SPERANTZA from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Giovani Cearense took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Dmytro Mykulyak to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Doriva Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. SPERANTZA's Dmytro Mykulyak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save F.C. SPERANTZA from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Cearense got free with Dmytro Mykulyak in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, F.C. SPERANTZA's goalkeeper Dmytro Mykulyak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Cearense. Dmytro Mykulyak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando da Silveira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Aracatiara EC's Ricardinho Vander made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dmytro Mykulyak was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Aracatiara EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aracatiara EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
