Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Holger Vinström made the kick off and thus started the match. Jonny Almqvist came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Albertus Reijdams. But to his dismay, Albertus Reijdams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Albertus Reijdams came free, but Jonny Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yelle Van Damme having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertus Reijdams in the 18th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonny Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanne Van Beneden, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Yanne Van Beneden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonny Almqvist. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yanne Van Beneden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Yelle Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Lindmark in the 28th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Freek Van Hoyvelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Almqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, SK Gullegem's Edmond Walder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonny Almqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Bryan Stuyck got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Albertus Reijdams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 minutes of play, SK Gullegem's Albertus Reijdams made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Almqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Yanne Van Beneden got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Hudiksvalls United got a corner. SK Gullegem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pär Fridlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pär Fridlund made a great header on Hudiksvalls United's corner, it was just that SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvalls United's zone, Yanne Van Beneden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Almqvist came out of the goal and Yanne Van Beneden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yanne Van Beneden kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jonny Almqvist made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Albertus Reijdams sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Edmond Walder fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonny Almqvist, passed just outside the right post. When Edmond Walder fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Edmond Walder a yellow card for diving instead. Bryan Stuyck kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edmond Walder managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Walder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Almqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's Yanne Van Beneden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Almqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonny Almqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yanne Van Beneden's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Albertus Reijdams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonny Almqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Jonny Almqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertus Reijdams in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SK Gullegem's Edmond Walder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonny Almqvist. That made the score 0-6 after 96 minutes of play. The SK Gullegem supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Gullegem would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
