After 2 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Kuse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Christoffersson in the 7th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Doni Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Geovânio da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbie Doll United U23 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 17th minute Pär Fridlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Peter Torstensson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Geovânio da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbie Doll United U23's protests and gave Geovânio da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Hudiksvalls United made a substitution. Marcus Lundhberg replaced Peter Torstensson. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Geovânio da Cunha got a free kick in the 25th minute. Hudiksvalls United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Carlos Varela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Fernandez in the 33rd minute of play. Björn Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Barbie Doll United U23 booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Holger Vinström to strike the kick off in the second half. Doni Pires was a little too slow when Wiktor Lindmark got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Barbie Doll United U23 booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Lundhberg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hudiksvalls United's Wiktor Lindmark slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doni Pires. That made the score 2-2 after 83 minutes of play. If Jeferson Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Vinström in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dan Kvalfält hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
