Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Luís Paulo Leme started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Augusto Gilen got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gavino Veremundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Mazaredo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Locaio. Arnoldo Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Leme in the 11th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guilherme Bittencourt sped through Mazaredo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Orlondon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter Schmidt during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. COMCHOPP's Válter Schmidt got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Válter Schmidt off the ground. After a rather tough play, COMCHOPP's Válter Schmidt got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mazaredo AFC's Gavino Veremundo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samuca Velloso but with some difficulty. Arnoldo Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes COMCHOPP got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Vander. Augusto Gilen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 27th playminute. In the 31st match minute, Mazaredo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Gilen to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Locaio in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Velloso saved COMCHOPP from getting behind. Luís Paulo Leme hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cléberson Dantas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in COMCHOPP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Samuca Velloso came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mazaredo AFC's Ernesto Perez. But to his dismay, Ernesto Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Mazaredo AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alfonso Locaio hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Luís Paulo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, COMCHOPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Mazaredo AFC's Augusto Gilen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuca Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Alfonso Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazaredo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Locaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuca Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the COMCHOPP defense, Augusto Gilen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Velloso. The COMCHOPP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Velloso should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, COMCHOPP's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Locaio came free, but Samuca Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Samuca Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazaredo AFC's Alfonso Locaio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Arnoldo Orlondon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mazaredo AFC's Arnoldo Orlondon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Mazaredo AFC from getting a goal against them. COMCHOPP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
