COMCHOPP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Ezkerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ladislao Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, COMCHOPP's Armandinho Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, COMCHOPP's Fabiano Quadros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ladislao Faro. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Luís Paulo Leme sped through Gloria Verdinegra AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ladislao Faro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paulo Leme in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Paiva struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ladislao Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COMCHOPP. COMCHOPP's Fabiano Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válter Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ladislao Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Paiva in the 93rd minute of the match. If Fabiano Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Faro was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Gloria Verdinegra AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented COMCHOPP from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
