The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Orlondon made a huge save. Ladislao Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Veremundo in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Bonifacio Muno got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Mariano Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Gilen in the 35th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Ladislao Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Gilen came free, but Ladislao Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Augusto Gilen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ladislao Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gloria Verdinegra AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leonides Rayman hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, Mazaredo AFC's Gavino Veremundo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ladislao Faro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mazaredo AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Gilen in the 44th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Ladislao Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Gilen in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Ezkerra was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Emiliano Celino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ladislao Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Mazaredo AFC's Ernesto Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ladislao Faro. That made the score 0-3 after 57 minutes of play. Arnoldo Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Ezkerra in the 62nd minute of play. Arnoldo Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Arnoldo Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Gilen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Ladislao Faro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Gloria Verdinegra AFC defense, Emiliano Celino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Faro. The Gloria Verdinegra AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Faro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Celino in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladislao Faro was a little too slow when Augusto Gilen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 80th minute, Ernesto Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute Bonifacio Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Muno hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Emiliano Celino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Ladislao Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mazaredo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
