After 16 played minutes Barbie Doll United U23 got a freekick which was hit by Rui do Nascimento. Doni Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Amaral in the 19th minute of play forced COMCHOPP's goalkeeper Samuca Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20th play minutes Geovânio da Cunha shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Samuca Velloso and just under the crossbar into goal. When Lúcio Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COMCHOPP's protests and gave Lúcio Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, COMCHOPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Paiva to maneuver through the defense. COMCHOPP's Samuca Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save COMCHOPP from getting a goal against them. Guilherme Bittencourt scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of COMCHOPP booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in COMCHOPP's zone, Tião França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Velloso came out of the goal and Tião França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Barbie Doll United U23 defense, Lúcio Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Pires. The Barbie Doll United U23 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Pires should have stopped the shot. Doni Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Leme in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yan Amaral made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Barbie Doll United U23's zone, Guilherme Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Pires came out of the goal and Guilherme Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Leme in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, COMCHOPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Senna hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Doni Pires made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luís Paulo Leme sent off a good shot on target. Samuca Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Amaral in the 64th minute of the match. Tião França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Velloso having to interfere. Doni Pires made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Luís Paulo Leme sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Leme got free with Doni Pires in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luís Paulo Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Lúcio Paiva notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Barbie Doll United U23's Doni Pires. Doni Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Válter Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Doni Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, COMCHOPP's Válter Schmidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, COMCHOPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Meira to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo Leme scored 1-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
