SK Gullegem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Daniel Vengloš scored to the left of an out of position Yelle Van Damme, making the score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goal looked a bit too open when Edmond Walder came free, but Jozef Sivčo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Jos Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Róbert Bachleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Dubinský to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Bachleda hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Yelle Van Damme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Bachleda's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes V.K.DRINK Hermanovce got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Bohuš. In the 34th minute, Yanne Van Beneden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Walder in the 39th minute of play forced V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goalkeeper Jozef Sivčo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yelle Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Bachleda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Vengloš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Yelle Van Damme made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Dubinský stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmond Walder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jozef Sivčo came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmond Walder slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 51st minute. Edmond Walder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yanne Van Beneden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jozef Sivčo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yelle Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Vengloš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jos Van Boeckost kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Dubinský in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yelle Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Edmond Walder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Sivčo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmond Walder who took care of the corner kick. Yelle Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Dubinský in the 69th minute of play.
