Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Lambros Karpodinis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Sokratis Kagiasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolopetinitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Kagiasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lambros Karpodinis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Kolopetinitsa fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Kolopetinitsa's Lambros Karpodinis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christodoulos Kolevas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Kazantzakos to maneuver through the defense. Kolopetinitsa's Lazaros Manolopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Trigo in the 16th minute of play. Konstantinos Kazantzis might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaká Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantinos Kazantzis ran back to his position shaking his head. Pindobassu EC's Kaká Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Pindobassu EC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pindobassu EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hílton Leite hit a great ball. When Hílton Leite fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindobassu EC's protests and gave Hílton Leite a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper Kaká Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lambros Karpodinis. Sokratis Kagiasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Maia having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, David Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes, Alexis Papadimoulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolopetinitsa and the Pindobassu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lambros Karpodinis in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Maia saved Pindobassu EC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Miguel Trigo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Lambros Karpodinis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolopetinitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lambros Karpodinis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaká Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lambros Karpodinis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Sokratis Kagiasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Kazantzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes Pindobassu EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sokratis Kagiasis who took care of the corner kick. In the 67th minute of the match, David Dionísio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lazaros Manolopoulos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Miranda in the 68th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Lazaros Manolopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper Kaká Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, David Dionísio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lazaros Manolopoulos. The goal made the score 2-1. If Lambros Karpodinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Kazantzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Maia having to interfere. Kolopetinitsa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
