The Reds's Bengt Sandell got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joar Kuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Nóbrega in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Bengt Sandell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pinho. Hyper9 -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Sandell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bengt Sandell took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pinho. Thiago Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 26th minute, Elliott Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Bengt Sandell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pinho was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Sérgio Falcão hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thiago Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Sandell in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Elliott Barck managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliott Barck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 played minutes Hyper9 -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by José Maria de Barros. Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Luís Gustavo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Luís Gustavo Cruz got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Elliott Barck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Thiago Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hyper9 -DMZ-! A collision led to Hyper9 -DMZ- getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sérgio Falcão hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Bengt Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Bengt Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt Sandell took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pinho. Thiago Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Elliott Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thiago Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Barck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
