The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Salaggoudis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Dionysis Salaggoudis made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Gamus. Golden Generation's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gilberto Gamus came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Salaggoudis. But to his dismay, Dionysis Salaggoudis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Golden Generation's Celso Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gilberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Karpodinis in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Kolopetinitsa's Lambros Karpodinis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 30th minute, Dalmacio Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionysis Salaggoudis in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Diogenis Kastras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gilberto Gamus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionysis Salaggoudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Dionysis Salaggoudis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Golden Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionysis Salaggoudis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 85th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Bittor to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Dimitris Kazantzakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Gamus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Gilberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Karpodinis in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Ksiros in the 93rd minute of play forced Golden Generation's goalkeeper Gilberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Dionysis Salaggoudis made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Gamus. Golden Generation's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. When the final whistle sounded Kolopetinitsa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Golden Generation.
