The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Rudi Langhmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Saverio Silban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Terhorst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sportivo Quilmes reached it. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, William Eekhout took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Uriel Iratzeder to make any attempt to save it. Saverio Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Club Sportivo Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Eguerdi. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Uriel Iratzeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Arnoldo Nikola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Van Emelen came free, but Uriel Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Arnoldo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Nikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Nikola in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias-Alexander Terhorst saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Club Sportivo Quilmes. Saverio Silban stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mathias-Alexander Terhorst. 1-3. Filomeno Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Terhorst having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Arnoldo Nikola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

After 50 minutes, Kenny Meulemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Vliegplein and the Club Sportivo Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. William Eekhout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Iratzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Filomeno Eguerdi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Quilmes. 66 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Terhorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Nikola. A collision led to Club Sportivo Quilmes getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Benjamin Igon hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Arnoldo Nikola made a precise shot to the right of Mathias-Alexander Terhorst. KFC Vliegplein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. When William Eekhout came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the KFC Vliegplein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Eekhout couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when William Eekhout came free, but Uriel Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davy Van Emelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Iratzeder having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Igon during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Saverio Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 94 in the game by Arnoldo Nikola from a close distance when the talented Mathias-Alexander Terhorst managed to make a qualified save. KFC Vliegplein's players were relieved. Filomeno Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Sportivo Quilmes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
