After 6 played minutes, The Reds's Mårten Stabbe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Yashin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Reds reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ola Malmberg during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of A.S. Ian Fenomeni booed when The Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Malmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Comunardo Di Giulio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Reds. After 15 minutes, Alberigo Alessandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Ian Fenomeni and the The Reds players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberigo Alessandro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Egil Kilstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Emil Yashin made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Bengt Sandell rounded A.S. Ian Fenomeni's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Comunardo Di Giulio made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Reds's Mårten Stabbe. In the 35th minute, Florian Bianchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Comunardo Di Giulio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Ian Fenomeni's protests and gave Comunardo Di Giulio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Comunardo Di Giulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Bianchi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Chiappini made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Elliott Barck notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Emil Yashin. Emil Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bengt Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego De Lorenzi made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Reds's Mårten Stabbe. After some careless play in the A.S. Ian Fenomeni defense, Bengt Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Yashin. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Yashin should have stopped the shot. Emil Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play, The Reds's Egil Kilstedt made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Bianchi to maneuver through the defense. In the 84thth minute of the game Elliott Barck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Emil Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Bengt Sandell notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Emil Yashin. Emil Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of The Reds booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Alessandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that The Reds were the better team. The Reds's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
