After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Napoleon Pietrowski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Endre Dénes, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabian Bojanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Ambrus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dávid Ambrus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Bojanowski. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dávid Ambrus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Witomir Sobania's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Gábor Vadas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gábor Vadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Dombrowski in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witomir Sobania got free with Gábor Vadas in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Dombrowski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juliusz Dombrowski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Ziemowit Iwanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Dávid Ambrus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rákóczifalva SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 45th minute Dávid Ambrus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Bojanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Dávid Ambrus made the kick off in the second half. Juliusz Dombrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Sobania hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ákos Bökönyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Bojanowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ákos Bökönyi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Napoleon Pietrowski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 60th match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Pietrowski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Karpaty Krosno defense, Ákos Bökönyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Bojanowski. The Karpaty Krosno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Bojanowski should have stopped the shot. Vilmos Horváth charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilmos Horváth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Witalis Fleischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Ákos Bökönyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rákóczifalva SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ákos Bökönyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tivadar Csáki hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Witomir Sobania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Bojanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dávid Ambrus in the 76th minute. Witomir Sobania hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Juliusz Dombrowski hit a great ball. The nice shot from Dávid Ambrus in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fabian Bojanowski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dávid Ambrus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fabian Bojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the game, Félix Pénzes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 92nd minute of the match Juliusz Dombrowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juliusz Dombrowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Dombrowski to maneuver through the defense.
