An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Perrando in the 17th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Rafe. In the 29th minute Bonifacio Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bivadi McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Montxo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Juventud Antoniana defense, Bradaigh Silke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Oihenarte. The Juventud Antoniana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Juventud Antoniana getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Delmiro Castel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Pat McLian got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes, Pat McLian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uí Fergusa and the Juventud Antoniana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bivadi McJohnny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, Evaristo Montxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bivadi McJohnny. Uí Fergusa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Montxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Juventud Antoniana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
