Christijan Eringa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Honung's Patric Ambjörnsson. But to his dismay, Patric Ambjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Mellin came free, but Christijan Eringa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honung booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Bleiswijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christijan Eringa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Honung's Jan-Olof Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Beerthuis in the 18th minute of play. MK Investments's Christijan Eringa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Pålsson in the 19th minute of play. Christijan Eringa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Unesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Beerthuis made a kick off. Christijan Eringa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Jakobsson in the 52nd minute of play. Arno Post was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, one of MK Investments:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Honung's Patric Ambjörnsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christijan Eringa. In the 70th minute, Magnus Pålsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christijan Eringa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Honung's Patric Ambjörnsson suffered a sore foot after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 73 minutes, Henk Vos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MK Investments and the Honung players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Henk Vos. In the 76th minute, La I got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Bleiswijk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, MK Investments's Ger Rodenberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jan-Olof Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Beerthuis in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th play minute Alfred Vikström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christijan Eringa. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Honung left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MK Investments.
