Donato Madonna was a little too slow when Bradaigh Silke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Uí Fergusa defense, Ciccio Ruggieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bivadi McJohnny. The Uí Fergusa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bivadi McJohnny should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Bradaigh Silke. In the 16th minute Teagan Hughes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadair Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Ruggieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Amos Tarulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroton F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uí Fergusa the free kick. With a little luck, Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna got control of the ball when Bradaigh Silke tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradaigh Silke got free with Donato Madonna in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Madonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair Dempsey in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ernesto Margoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34thth minute of the game Ciccio Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadair Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Shamus Kirby rounded Kroton F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Shamus Kirby struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Donato Madonna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciccio Ruggieri to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadair Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Ruggieri in the 53rd minute of play. Fabio Cavaliere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bivadi McJohnny made a huge save. Peadair Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciccio Ruggieri got free with Bivadi McJohnny in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Corrado Ascani fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kroton F.C.'s protests and gave Corrado Ascani a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the match, Bradaigh Silke notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna. Donato Madonna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Ruggieri in the 66th minute of play. Dave Lemma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bivadi McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Ruggieri came free, but Bivadi McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uí Fergusa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kroton F.C. for a fine match.
