An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Ambjörnsson in the 43rd minute of play forced Rákóczifalva SE's goalkeeper Gábor Vadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gábor Vadas was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Josef Mellin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josef Mellin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Mellin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Honung's Co I seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Co I the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Honung protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Co I had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jan-Olof Bröms had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Sándor Berényi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rákóczifalva SE's Gábor Vadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Ambjörnsson in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Marcus Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
