Amado Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Gilberto Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Alfonso Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mazorca's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Lauaxeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Urre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clodoveo Gartxot. La Mazorca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 played minutes La Mazorca got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Hever. Gilberto Munio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Clodoveo Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Los Andes. After 40 minutes, Silvano Lore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mazorca and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvano Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Clodoveo Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Donzel in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Roldan to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Donzel came free, but Clodoveo Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Gartxot made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ermegildo Donzel sent off a good shot on target. Blas Raymundo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. La Mazorca's Arnaldo Luken got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amado Arce fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mazorca's protests and gave Amado Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes, Americo Abecia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the La Mazorca players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Americo Abecia hit a great ball. Ermegildo Donzel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nereo Tohias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clodoveo Gartxot came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Tohias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. Nereo Tohias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 83rd playminute. A well placed Nereo Tohias short distance shot in the 92nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The Club Atletico Los Andes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
