The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Macedo's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir de Lara came out of the goal and Frederico Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Pedro Paulo Schmidt got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Luiz Fabiano Gøl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the game Rogério Ceni made a throw-in which Aloísio Chulapa played forward. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Divina Comédia FC fully deserved thier win.
