In the 11th minute, Arnaldo Luken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Thor Thidén fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guldsmedshyttan IK's protests and gave Thor Thidén a yellow card for diving instead. Thor Thidén hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, La Mazorca's Vicente Roldan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Lange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Guldsmedshyttan IK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jack Västlund hit a great ball. If Silvano Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guldsmedshyttan IK's zone, Vicente Roldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Lange came out of the goal and Vicente Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Arne Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Dario Pelagius had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bror Nyberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Guldsmedshyttan IK got a freekick which was hit by Bror Nyberg. 35 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's Ciriaco Lehoi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Feliberto Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Lange having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Thor Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Roldan made a kick off. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Stig-Arne Lange proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Guldsmedshyttan IK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Roldan got free with Stig-Arne Lange in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Roldan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Arne Lange came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Roldan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. In the 75th minute, Vicente Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helge Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Silvano Lore hit a great ball. When Marcos Hever came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the La Mazorca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Hever couldn't finish the play. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Evaristo Cidro hit a great ball. Stig-Arne Lange made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Vicente Roldan sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over La Mazorca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guldsmedshyttan IK throughout the match.
