After 28 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Belmiro. Saul Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Tomoioagă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CeciForEver booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Schiau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Belmiro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 40th minute of the match, Gigi Drăgan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saul Berto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
