The referee ignored ŠK Horelica's protests and gave Mojmír Rybárik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Stanislav Mikeš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Stanislav Mikeš sped through Purcaresti CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alin Holban. Jozef Višňa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alin Holban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jozef Višňa ran back to his position shaking his head. Stanislav Mikeš hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Stanislav Mikeš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alin Holban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Tomoioagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mojmír Rybárik to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Stanislav Mikeš struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alin Holban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŠK Horelica. After a defensive mix-up in Purcaresti CSS's zone, Stanislav Mikeš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Holban came out of the goal and Stanislav Mikeš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Pacurar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Costică Pacurar. When Stanislav Mikeš came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ŠK Horelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Mikeš couldn't finish the play. Stanislav Mikeš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matej Tomka ran back to his position shaking his head. Alin Holban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Mikeš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stanislav Mikeš came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ŠK Horelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Mikeš couldn't finish the play. In the 94thth minute of the game Stanislav Mikeš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ŠK Horelica played a much better game than Purcaresti CSS and deserved their victory. The Purcaresti CSS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
