Union Madereros's Elpidio Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Arnulfo Barea got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jozef Višňa came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elpidio Erauso could save by the left post. The ŠK Horelica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Vajda should have stopped the shot. ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Bitxintxo in the 48th minute of play.

Union Madereros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Osoro to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, ŠK Horelica's Jozef Koštialik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
