Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Kaplan's Evaristo Gabino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tibor Pastirčák kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Kaplan got a corner. ŠK Horelica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Soin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucio Soin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Vajda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erik Vajda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Gabino in the 21st minute of play. ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Soin in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Avellaneda. Erik Vajda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aristides Avellaneda hit a great ball. Jozef Koštialik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, René Higuita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Calisto came free, but Erik Vajda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Vajda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Calisto in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aristides Avellaneda hit a great ball. Erik Vajda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Gabino in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Aristides Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vajda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jozef Koštialik made a kick off. After 51 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by František Kazár. Kaplan's René Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Tomka in the 55th minute of play. ŠK Horelica were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Kaplan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. František Kazár took the corner. František Kazár made a great header on ŠK Horelica's corner, it was just that Kaplan's René Higuita managed to reach the ball for a save. If Jozef Koštialik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the game, Kaplan's Angel Calisto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Vajda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jozef Koštialik took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Higuita. René Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 68thth minute of the game Lucio Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. René Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Koštialik in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Jozef Koštialik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ŠK Horelica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jozef Koštialik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaplan's René Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Koštialik in the 78th minute of play. René Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Tomka in the 80th minute of play. Matej Tomka scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Higuita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jozef Koštialik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ŠK Horelica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gabriel Sapár hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blažej Balzer to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
