Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roman Buczko made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Tomás Munhoz sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Soeiro came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Mario gool's Edward Konopka. But to his dismay, Edward Konopka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Mario gool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Wierzcholek to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Mario gool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Wyrzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Mario gool's Tanek Chojnacki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Allan do Valle hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Frederico Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Mario gool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Buczko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tanek Chojnacki scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanek Chojnacki was the one to do the kick off. Mateus Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateus Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Cássio Soeiro, was totally fooled by Mario gool's Edward Konopka, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Almir Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Dawid Wyrzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 66 played minutes Mario gool got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Dembkowski. 70 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Munhoz came free, but Roman Buczko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
