Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Sosnowe Klimaty's Milosz Penkalski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute of the match, Víktor Sarmento got a very nice opportunity to score, but Janusz Grabski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 4 minutes Sosnowe Klimaty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simão Travassos who took care of the corner kick. In the 5th match minute, Sosnowe Klimaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Hajder to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Hajder hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Tomás Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Grabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Sosnowe Klimaty's Waldemar Dyczkowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldemar Dyczkowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sosnowe Klimaty protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldemar Dyczkowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 14th minute, Waldemar Dyczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Travassos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Janusz Grabski came out and tried to block the shot, but Simão Travassos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Cássio Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Dziatkowski in the 22nd minute of play. Tolek Ferfecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cássio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Corinthians's Almir Furlan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Grabski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Alfred Hajder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Soeiro. Corinthians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Hajder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Ferfecki in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Barros to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sebastian Dynda made a great header on Sosnowe Klimaty's corner, it was just that Corinthians's Cássio Soeiro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Hajder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Trancoso. After 53 minutes of play, Corinthians's Tomás Munhoz made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Grabski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Travassos to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes, Sosnowe Klimaty's Sebastian Dynda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cássio Soeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sosnowe Klimaty reached it. When Tanek Dziatkowski came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sosnowe Klimaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanek Dziatkowski couldn't finish the play. Tomás Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Janusz Grabski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanek Dziatkowski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Soeiro saved Corinthians from getting behind. If Alfred Hajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alfred Hajder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Hajder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corinthians's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
