After 40 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Leo Lissens. 45 minutes into the game, Dawid Wyrzykowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mario gool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Hill United the free kick. Zygmunt Osielski's late challenge caught a North Hill United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zygmunt Osielski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of North Hill United booed when Mario gool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. The North Hill United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbrecht Van Eijken should have stopped the shot. Robbrecht Van Eijken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Wyrzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
