In the 24thth minute of the game Víktor Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AL TOKE FC's Augusto Handi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes AL TOKE FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Ellande. Higinio Txordon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cássio Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AL TOKE FC. When Rene Bazil fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TOKE FC's protests and gave Rene Bazil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Rene Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AL TOKE FC's Augusto Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Sarmento in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, AL TOKE FC's Augusto Handi got control of the ball when Simão Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Travassos in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Handi saved AL TOKE FC from getting behind. AL TOKE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians the free kick. Augusto Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Tomás Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Camilo Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Ellande kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corinthians fans cheered their team off the field, for while AL TOKE FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
