Kjetil-André Garberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Fredrik Henden fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagene IF's protests and gave Fredrik Henden a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Henden. Babbis Zervoudakis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Mons Kristiansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noah Berdal hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Kjetil-André Garberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Zervoudakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arve Sandberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Roald Fredheim. In the 34th match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Mørland to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Zisimopoulos came free, but Kjetil-André Garberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babbis Zervoudakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sagene IF's Kjetil-André Garberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimosthenis Antonopoulos in the 39th minute of play. If Manolis Papalexiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fondas Balouris got control of the ball when Fredrik Henden tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Zervoudakis came free, but Kjetil-André Garberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Henden made a kick off. Kjetil-André Garberg made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Manolis Papalexiou sent off a good shot on target. Kjetil-André Garberg was a little too slow when Evripidis Zisimopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evripidis Zisimopoulos in the 62nd minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Kjetil-André Garberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evripidis Zisimopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evripidis Zisimopoulos got free with Kjetil-André Garberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Berdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjetil-André Garberg came out of the goal and Babbis Zervoudakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Kotsopoulos came free, but Kjetil-André Garberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evripidis Zisimopoulos in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjetil-André Garberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Dimosthenis Tsogas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sagene IF's Kjetil-André Garberg did a great save. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Giorgos Pantelis got a free kick in the 80th minute. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fondas Balouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roald Fredheim in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Zervoudakis got free with Kjetil-André Garberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Roald Fredheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagene IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Roald Fredheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fondas Balouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Babbis Zervoudakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kjetil-André Garberg made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's zone, Roald Fredheim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Balouris came out of the goal and Roald Fredheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
