A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Gale came free, but Amado Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Jay Gale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Min didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Gale came free, but Amado Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Marta Kante put in a rough tackle. After 27 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Marta Kante. In the 28th minute, Nemesio Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Thomas Power managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlisle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Power was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Elding to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carlisle United's zone, Flavio Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brad Hudson came out of the goal and Flavio Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Furia Albiceleste got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Gaufred.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Neto made a kick off. In the 56th minute Thomas Power shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Power came free, but Amado Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Flavio Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furia Albiceleste were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Carlisle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nemesio Gerazan took the corner. Jan Thomas tried in the game's 68th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Brad Hudson. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. After 73 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Tod Acton. Brad Hudson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nemesio Gerazan. After 75 played minutes Furia Albiceleste got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Onofre. In the 79th minute, Thomas Power got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Furia Albiceleste's Bernardo Onofre got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Bernardo Onofre off the ground. After 82 minutes, Thomas Power mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlisle United and the Furia Albiceleste players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Thomas Power got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thomas Power received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Amado Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Furia Albiceleste's Flavio Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Furia Albiceleste! For all the effort they put into the match, the Furia Albiceleste players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carlisle United.
