Albertinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Albertinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Spets in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, FC LauB's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Mello came free, but Karl-Johan Wiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Niklas Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored Nas Horas Vagas F.C's protests and gave Nelson Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Nas Horas Vagas F.C defense, Niklas Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertinho Netto. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertinho Netto should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Carl Thedin mouthed his way into the referee's book. FC LauB's Carl Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Emanuel Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Johan Wiberg, 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olov Spets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nelson Dantas was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nelson Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Spets came free, but Albertinho Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Torbjörn Kollberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, FC LauB's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Mello came free, but Karl-Johan Wiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Carl Thedin. In the 81st minute Olov Spets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nas Horas Vagas F.C's zone, Olov Spets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Netto came out of the goal and Olov Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Thedin in the 88th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Albertinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Kollberg. After 96 minutes, Zé Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nas Horas Vagas F.C and the FC LauB players grew even worse after the yellow card.
