The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roald Fredheim during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjetil-André Garberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Túlio Guerra. Mons Kristiansen charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mons Kristiansen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Davi Galvão got a free kick in the 16th minute. Fredrik Henden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albertinho Netto. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Henden made a kick off. Kjetil-André Garberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Zé Mello. But to his dismay, Zé Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kjetil-André Garberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Mello's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Emanuel Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjetil-André Garberg. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 71st minute Zé Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjetil-André Garberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjetil-André Garberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Moreno in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Emanuel Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjetil-André Garberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjetil-André Garberg was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 92 minutes of play Sagene IF's Mons Kristiansen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
