Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Jay Gale started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Jay Gale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlisle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Gale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Gale, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Boedo Athletic. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Reynaldo Fagondo hit a great ball. When Thomas Power fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlisle United's protests and gave Thomas Power a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Power. A collision led to Boedo Athletic. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alfredo Llorienzo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Jay Gale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jay Gale scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Bazkoare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paolo Bazkoare came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carlisle United's Jay Gale. But to his dismay, Jay Gale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Paolo Bazkoare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugh Tyson in the 30th minute. When Thomas Power was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Thomas Power hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Thomas to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Reynaldo Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boedo Athletic.'s Reynaldo Fagondo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Carlisle United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hugh Tyson hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Hugh Tyson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Bazkoare having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Jan Thomas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hugh Tyson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Gale in the 76th minute of play. Fernando Rainerio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jay Gale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Edwardo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Boedo Athletic.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jay Gale came free, but Paolo Bazkoare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Flavio Edwardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boedo Athletic. and the Carlisle United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Edwardo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Boedo Athletic.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jay Gale came free, but Paolo Bazkoare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlisle United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
