The FC LauB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Babbis Zervoudakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Wiberg having to interfere. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Babbis Zervoudakis got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Kalaitzopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of FC LauB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ:s goal. Niklas Stål's late challenge caught a ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Stål helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Niklas Stål hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Thomas Kalaitzopoulos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 32 played minutes Carl Thedin shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fondas Balouris to catch but Carl Thedin was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Niklas Stål scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fondas Balouris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Babbis Zervoudakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Wiberg having to interfere. Carl Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fondas Balouris made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Babbis Zervoudakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Wiberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.

The supporters of FC LauB booed when ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolis Papalexiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Olov Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fondas Balouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Thedin in the 57th minute of play. Spyros Kotsopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Olov Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, FC LauB's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Wiberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babbis Zervoudakis. Karl-Johan Wiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evripidis Zisimopoulos in the 63rd minute of play. Evripidis Zisimopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Wiberg having to interfere. Fondas Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Karl-Johan Wiberg made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Babbis Zervoudakis sent off a good shot on target. Fondas Balouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Spets in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Torbjörn Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LauB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Kollberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Babbis Zervoudakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Wiberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babbis Zervoudakis ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Kollberg came free, but Fondas Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Zervoudakis got free with Karl-Johan Wiberg in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's zone, Carl Thedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Balouris came out of the goal and Carl Thedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Carl Thedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LauB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Thedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Olov Spets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LauB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ the free kick. In the 97th minute, Olov Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
