Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Makis Zounis started the match with the kick off. Fondas Balouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Thedin in the 4th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Ingemar Dusett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LauB and the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when FC LauB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Spets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fondas Balouris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Olov Spets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fondas Balouris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fondas Balouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Thedin in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Stål in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fondas Balouris saved ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting behind. Babbis Zervoudakis in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Johan Wiberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute Manolis Papalexiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Wiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Carl Thedin made a precise shot to the right of Fondas Balouris. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Karl-Johan Wiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Zounis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, FC LauB's Sten Olofsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Makis Zounis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Karl-Johan Wiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolis Papalexiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Wiberg having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Makis Zounis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Johan Wiberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Dimosthenis Tsogas got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Spets made a kick off. Carl Thedin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Fondas Balouris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Stål in the 54th minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Fondas Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FC LauB's goal looked a bit too open when Makis Zounis came free, but Karl-Johan Wiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Pantelis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. FC LauB's Karl-Johan Wiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Zervoudakis in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ defense, Carl Thedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fondas Balouris. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Balouris should have stopped the shot. Babbis Zervoudakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Sten Olofsson. After a rather tough play, FC LauB's Pål Isaksson got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC LauB's Karl-Johan Wiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Zervoudakis in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Kurt Grönberg put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fondas Balouris.
