Alfredo Bergomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 24th minute of the match. Alfredo Bergomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 39 played minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabian Guter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Bergomi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. After some careless play in the ASD Real Molinella 1911 defense, Pedro Rojelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Bergomi. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Bergomi should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Milian was the one to do the kick off. Aquiles Oihenarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Luzea in the 66th minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Alfredo Bergomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Bergomi had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teobaldo Milian from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Milian in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Bergomi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Alfredo Bergomi managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flavio Chizzo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Chizzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, ASD Real Molinella 1911 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Chizzo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Real Molinella 1911's zone, Teobaldo Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Bergomi came out of the goal and Teobaldo Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermanno Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aquiles Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Clemente came free, but Aquiles Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rene Luzea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Bergomi. That made the score 2-2 in the 89 minute of play. Teobaldo Milian took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Bergomi. Alfredo Bergomi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Atlanta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
