When Cesare Simone fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fiume Veneto's protests and gave Cesare Simone a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Simone. After 3 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Marinelli. 4 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Orgun came free, but Ercole Briganti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Briganti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzalp Orgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Giorgi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fiume Veneto's Ercole Briganti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzalp Orgun in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Predators were awarded a corner. Oğuzalp Orgun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Oğuzalp Orgun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ercole Briganti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 17 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Kurtuluş came free, but Ercole Briganti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzalp Orgun in the 25th minute of the match. Ercole Briganti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Kurtuluş, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Andrea Natalucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çelik Ömür during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çelik Ömür kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Emilian Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Passerini in the 35th minute of play. Ercole Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelik Ömür in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Predators booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Giorgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Roberto-Jose Baggio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ercole Briganti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ercole Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzalp Orgun in the 46th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Passerini during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arturo Passerini kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Passerini to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Bruno Rossetti made a precise shot to the right of Emilian Martínez. Predators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ercole Briganti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oğuzalp Orgun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arturo Passerini hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Kurtuluş came free, but Ercole Briganti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Ercole Briganti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Claudio Fantasia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ercole Briganti was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Oğuzalp Orgun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oğuzalp Orgun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Cesare Marinelli put in a rough tackle. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fiume Veneto! Fiume Veneto:s Ercole Briganti showed great skill when he stopped Oğuzalp Orgun:s penalty. Oğuzalp Orgun scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Briganti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulusi Kurtuluş got free with Ercole Briganti in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Claudio Papetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Briganti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hulusi Kurtuluş in the 87th minute. Hulusi Kurtuluş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Ercole Briganti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Predators's Hulusi Kurtuluş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ercole Briganti. That made the score 1-5 after 94 minutes of play. Hulusi Kurtuluş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
