After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Zé Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zemantauskas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Honesto. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Hugo Jerrold suffered a concussion in the 25th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 25 minutes, Joel de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemantauskas FC and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atlético Atlanta's Bonifacio Cresconio was substituted for Hugo Jerrold. After 26 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel de Senna. If Rene Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Zé Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Oihenarte. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Zemantauskas FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Club Atlético Atlanta for much of the match.
