Eurico de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eurico de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Admon in the 15th minute of the match. Teobaldo Milian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Milian lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Eurico de Lara. Cercadinho's Eurico de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Luzea in the 25th minute of play. Rene Luzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eurico de Lara having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Milian got free with Eurico de Lara in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Anacleto Admon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eurico de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Rojelio in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico de Lara saved Cercadinho from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Fabian Guter put in a rough tackle. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Atlanta were the better team. Club Atlético Atlanta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
