The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Teobaldo Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Briganti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 10 minutes, Pedro Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Briganti was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 20th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Ercole Briganti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Rojelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ercole Briganti made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Pedro Rojelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fiume Veneto's Ercole Briganti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Rene Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Briganti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Passerini in the 34th minute of the match. Anacleto Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Fiume Veneto's Ercole Briganti got control of the ball when Teobaldo Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercole Briganti came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Teobaldo Milian. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Milian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Arturo Passerini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Oihenarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Arturo Passerini slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. In the 70th minute, Anacleto Admon made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Briganti. Fiume Veneto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Rojelio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ercole Briganti saved Fiume Veneto from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Simone. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Arturo Passerini scored to the left of an out of position Aquiles Oihenarte, making the score, 4-3. Ercole Briganti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Arturo Passerini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiume Veneto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Passerini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercole Briganti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alfredo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercole Briganti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Milian's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
