In the 2nd minute, Aírton Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kingsley Coman having to interfere. Pocho Citko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Humberto Xavier made a huge save. Kingsley Coman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Rega Merida CF booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rega Merida CF's Roland Jakubiak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brasilino. Carlos Eduardo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Humberto Xavier made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Babhruvahana Maagaardshus sent off a good shot on target. Babhruvahana Maagaardshus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Xavier came out and tried to block the shot, but Babhruvahana Maagaardshus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulryk Sawicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Humberto Xavier. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Murilo Pena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kingsley Coman skillfully saved the ball.

Rega Merida CF's Zbigniew Kondysar was substituted for Gilbert Witek. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulryk Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Sawicki in the 53rd minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Ulryk Sawicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 63 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Pena. When Pocho Citko fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rega Merida CF's protests and gave Pocho Citko a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Pocho Citko hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pocho Citko to maneuver through the defense. Brasilino's Aírton Nóbrega couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rega Merida CF. Ulryk Sawicki scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Rega Merida CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brasilino:s goal. Kingsley Coman had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Aírton Nóbrega's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 80th minute, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Rega Merida CF's Pocho Citko in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasilino's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute Babhruvahana Maagaardshus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Rega Merida CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
