Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anselmo Esdras kicked off to start the match. FC Stadtclub's Anders Ulrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Ixaka in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Anselmo Esdras made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Stadtclub's Anders Ulrich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anders Ulrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Ulrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Anders Ulrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Ixaka in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Esdras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Ulrich was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Gerardo Ixaka took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Ulrich. RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Jerardo made a precise shot to the right of Anders Ulrich. FC Stadtclub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 25 minutes into the match, Nicasio Mendebal notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Stadtclub's Anders Ulrich. Anders Ulrich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anders Ulrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Anders Ulrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Nevada in the 34th minute of the match. Anders Ulrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Mendebal went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After 41 minutes of play, RIVER's Anselmo Esdras made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Ulrich was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anders Ulrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Anselmo Esdras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Ulrich. FC Stadtclub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Esdras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. After the first half RIVER were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Mäder to make the kick off. Anders Ulrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Esdras, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Anders Ulrich made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gerardo Ixaka sent off a good shot on target. Nicasio Mendebal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anders Ulrich made a huge save. Anders Ulrich came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Gerardo Ixaka. But to his dismay, Gerardo Ixaka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After 67 minutes of play, RIVER's Gerardo Ixaka made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Ulrich was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Ixaka got free with Anders Ulrich in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harold Baum's late challenge caught a RIVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
