The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Genaro Mazuelas put in a rough tackle. A collision led to No Me Inscriban Gracias getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Genaro Mazuelas hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Yuri Neiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saritama Villarroel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when No Me Inscriban Gracias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Villatoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Chico Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Léo Carioca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Léo Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estevez Gandarillas. Saritama Villarroel came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Nico Leão. But to his dismay, Nico Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, No Me Inscriban Gracias's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Neiva came free, but Saritama Villarroel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flamengo FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after No Me Inscriban Gracias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yuri Neiva took the corner. No Me Inscriban Gracias's Saritama Villarroel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Sena in the 33rd minute of play. Léo Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevez Gandarillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Estevez Gandarillas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Chico Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo FSCMZ and the No Me Inscriban Gracias players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Estevez Gandarillas came free, but Léo Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Giovani Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo FSCMZ's protests and gave Giovani Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Vara walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Léo Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevez Gandarillas in the 59th minute of play. Saritama Villarroel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yuri Neiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. After 66 minutes, Estevez Gandarillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the No Me Inscriban Gracias and the Flamengo FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevez Gandarillas to maneuver through the defense. Saritama Villarroel was a little too slow when Yuri Neiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. Saritama Villarroel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hortêncio Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The No Me Inscriban Gracias supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flamengo FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Flamengo FSCMZ.
